The Institute is adjacent to the Bjergsted park, which hosts the Stavanger Concert House (home of the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra), the Institute of Music and Arts of the University of Stavanger, the Stavanger School of Culture, the International Chamber Music Festival, the International Jazz Festival and a wealth of other music organizations.

Getting here:

By bus:

Take bus no. 8 from Stavanger Sentrum/Breiavatnet, direction Randaberg. Get off after about 3 minutes at Bjergsted. You will find the institute to your right hand side.

By car:

Head northwest on Løkkeveien toward Henrik Steffens gate. Turn right at the first roundabout. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Borgermester Middelthons gate. The Institute will be on the right. There is a large, free, parking lot just across the road from the Institute.

By foot:

Walk through the old town, or follow the Blue Promenade towards Bjergsted. The Institute is located in Borgermester Middelthons gate.
