No Christmas is complete without Praetorius' Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming. The original text to this Christmas hymn can trace it's roots back to Frater Conradus, about 1582-84. Michael Praetorius printed it in 1609. In Norwegian it is mostly performed as Det hev ei rose sprunge. Here performed by the YMCA Choir "Sela" conducted by Dag Kristoffersen on Musica A 3089 with matrix number N 1159. The record was published around 1950.
