The Institute is adjacent to the Bjergsted park, which hosts the Stavanger Concert House (home of the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra), the Institute of Music and Arts of the University of Stavanger, the Stavanger School of Culture, the International Chamber Music Festival, the International Jazz Festival and a wealth of other music organizations. A new Concert Hall is currently being projected just seawards of the park area. |
